This video captures Verizon's role in helping with recovery in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. I sent crews to three key locations: the Astrodome in Houston; a rest stop on the Pennsylvania Turnpike to intercept a convoy of our employees headed south; and to a call center where employees answered pledge calls for a national telethon. We edited overnight and used the piece as a prelude to the chairman's quarterly Webcast to employees.
